Programs for All Ages
Gingerbread House Contest (Main)
It's time to get creative this holiday season! Find an empty box (tissue box, shoe box etc.) and create a holiday gingerbread house. No food items please! Prizes will be awarded for a variety of categories. Stop by the Youth Services department to pick up a copy of the contest rules, or email jennifere@eastonpl.org.
All gingerbread houses must be turned into the library by December 12.

Hora de Cuentos. Bilingual Storytime. (Palmer)

For ages 0-10 Saturdays, December 3 at 11:30am and December 17 at 10:30am.

Read to a Dog at the Library (Main)
Ages 0 - 18 with an adult. Tuesday, December 13 and 27 from 10:30 - 11:30am.
Come to the library and read to a certified Dog Therapy International canine! Although we encourage children to read in this program, they may also show the dog pictures from a book, or simply pet them. Janet Grube, a trained professional handler, will accompany the dog. No registration required, but participation is on a first-come basis. Special time for adults from 10:00 - 10:30.

Storytime at the Cat Cafe (Main)
Ages 0 - 18 with an adult. Tuesday, December 6 and 20 from 4:00 - 4:45pm.
Project Paw at 452 Northampton Street in Easton
Join us for a purrfect afternoon of stories, crafts, and snuggle time with some of the cutest kitties you’ve ever seen! No registration required.

4H at the Library (Main)
Ages 6 and older. Monday, December 5, Friday, December 9, and Thursday, December 22nd, 4:00-4:45pm. Join Dr. Amy from the Northampton chapter of the 4H club! We will be doing various interactive learning activities that will tie the 4 H's together.

The Sketchbook Project (Main)
Ages 6 to 18. Wednesday, December 14, 4:00-4:45pm
Let’s get our creative juices flowing! Each month we will learn a different technique to fill our sketchbooks and widen our artistic abilities. Each youth artist will receive their own mini sketchbook (while supplies last), feel free to bring your favorite pen or pencil.

Sign Language Storytime (Main)
Ages 0 - 18 with an adult. Saturday, December 17, 11:30am - 12:15pm

Stop by the Main Library for Grab and Go Bags. There are new themes each week, with fun crafts to enjoy together as a family. See Youth Services for more details. Each Grab and Go Bag includes supplies for the project and other fun ideas!

NEW! Baby Storytime (Main)
Ages 0-2. Thursday, December 8, 10:00 - 10:30am
This special Storytime is just for our littlest friends!
Enjoy developmentally appropriate books, music, playtime, and more!
No registration is required for this program.

Family Storytime (Main)
Ages 0-5. Mondays and Wednesdays at 9:30 and 10:30am. No storytime December 26 and 28.
Join Miss Amber on Mondays or Miss Jenny on Wednesdays for a themed Storytime in which we will read books, sing songs, and get our wiggles out!
No registration is required for this program.

Spanish Sprinkles (Main)
For ages 0-5. Thursday, December 15, 10:00am
Join Miss Libby as we learn Spanish during storytime!
During each storytime we will learn a few new words in Spanish to help build up our vocabulary.

Milk and Cookies Storytime (Main)

Music and Movement (Main)
For ages 2-4. Tuesday, December 6 and 20 at 11:30am.
Ready to get moving? Join us for some of our favorite music and movement activities.
Children will get to explore music and rhythm with songs, simple instruments and more.

Holiday Cookie Decorating (Main)

Practice your cookie decorating skills with Chef Libby!
Children will decorate an assortment of holiday cookies to take home.

Ages 10 and up, or accompanied by an adult.
Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5:30 - 7:00pm. No Card Club December 20 and 22.
Join us for a variety of games played with cards, including Pokémon and Magic the Gathering!
Although we have all the cards necessary, feel free to bring your own.
The card club games are led by a community educator.

I Survived Book Group (Palmer)
For ages 8-12. Wednesday, December 7 at 4:00pm.
Discusses books from Lauren Tarshis’s I Survived historical fiction series.
Children discuss the story and participate in related STEM activities.
