All permanent
residents of the Easton Area School District, including
the city of Easton, Forks Township, Palmer Township, and
part of Lower Mount Bethel may obtain cards at no
charge.
Annual
subscription memberships are available, for $75 per
household, to individuals who reside within the Easton
Library District, as defined by the Office of
Commonwealth Libraries. This includes the areas of Pen
Argyl, Plainfield Township, Stockertown, Tatamy and
Windgap. We do not sell cards outside of the Easton
Library District.
All
applicants must present current photo ID showing both
their name and address at the time of registration.
Applicants under age 18 also need a parent/guardian
signature. Library cards are good for one year from the
date of issue and must be renewed each year.
Computer Use
Only cards are available for patrons unable to obtain a
regular Library card.
The
Library participates in Access Pennsylvania, a statewide
reciprocal borrowing program that includes the holdings
of many types of libraries. This entitles our resident
cardholders, in good standing, to borrowing privileges
at over 500 public libraries in Pennsylvania.
If the Library does not have
the items you want and you are an Easton Area School
District resident, the Interlibrary Loan department will
borrow it from another library for you at your request.
