The Palmer Branch of the Easton Area Public Library is located in the Palmer Municipal Centre in Palmer Township just off Route 248
PALMER BRANCH NEWSLETTER
 
We are happy to offer the following to our patrons:
  • Library materials for children, teens, and adults
  • Programming, book discussion groups, and activities for children, teens, and adults
  • A computer lab with access to the internet and Microsoft Office. Access is currently limited to 30 minute appointments.
  • Free public wifi
  • The Palmer Branch will SEND faxes for the public. You must use the library cover sheet. The first page sent costs $2.00 and subsequent pages cost $1.00 each. Payable by cash or check. AVAILABLE ONLY AT THE PALMER BRANCH

  FOR YOUNG CHILDREN 
 
Mother Goose Storytime
Features songs, fingerplays, nursery rhymes, bubbles, books, and instruments. Mother Goose Time helps our youngest patrons learn early literacy skills, socialization, rhythm, gross and fine motor skills, and coordination through play!

Meets virtually once a month
   
Teddy Bear Storytime
Features simple stories, songs, action rhymes, and a simple craft. Teddy Bear Storytime introduces toddlers to early literacy skills, colors, and shapes in fun and playful ways! Parents and caregivers will also discover ways to help their children develop literacy skills and foster an early love of books and learning.

Meets virtually once a month
   
Preschool Storytime
Includes stories, songs, and a craft. Older toddlers and preschoolers will learn and practice letters, print awareness, and phonological awareness through fun stories, songs, and activities. Parents and caregivers will also discover ways to help their children develop literacy skills and foster an early love of books and learning.

  FOR SCHOOL-AGE CHILDREN 
   
I Survived Book Group - Meets virtually
The I Survived Book Group discusses historical events by reading books from the I Survived historical fiction series by Lauren Tarshis! At each meeting, participants discuss the book with Miss Katie
This group meets four times a year for children ages 7-12. Registration is required for each discussion. The first ten children to sign up will receive a free paperback copy of the book, which is theirs to keep provided they attend the discussion. Who Was Book Group - Meets virtually
For children ages 7-13, this group discusses the Who HQ biography and non-fiction series! At each meeting, Miss Katie leads a discussion of the book, and one lucky participant will win a raffle prize!
This group meets four times a year for children ages 7-13. Registration is required for each discussion. Palmer Adult Book Group - Meets virtually
Looking for a fun book group? Do you need to talk about the ending of that newest bestseller with someone? Join us for our Palmer Adult Book Group! This group meets monthly on the fourth Tuesday of every month at 6:00pm. This group is open to all and we’re always happy to welcome new participants! Contact the library for upcoming meeting dates and selected titles.
Meets the 4th Tuesday of every month from 6:00-7:30 pm (except the month of December)
   
Forever Young Adult Book Group - Meets virtually
Do you secretly love YA books? Join us at Forever Young Adult Book Group, a book discussion group for any and all adults who enjoy reading teen and young adult literature! A different YA book is selected for discussion each month and meets the third Wednesday of every month at 6pm.
