Hello! Join us for bilingual story time! Read books, sing songs, and have fun in Spanish (and English) with Miss Ana! The majority of books read will be in Spanish.

Stop by the Main Library for Grab and Go Bags.
There are new themes each week, with fun crafts to enjoy together as a family.

PROGRAMS FOR YOUNGER CHILDREN

Fall Storytimes at the Palmer Branch
Weekly storytimes begin the week of September 19. Weather permitting, storytimes will be outside on the lawn, so bring a blanket or lawn chair! Storytime will meet inside in the event of bad weather. Registration is required. Contact Katie at katiec@eastonpl.org or visit the library to register.

Storytime for Littles (0-2 years)
Tuesdays at 10:00am at Palmer

Storytime for Bigs (2-5 years)
Tuesdays at 10:45am at Palmer
Thursdays at 10:00am at Palmer

Sensory Storytime (2-6 years with sensory sensitivities)
Thursdays at 11:30am at Palmer

Bedtime Storytime (Palmer)
For children ages 2-7, with an adult. Wednesday, September 28 at 6:00pm.
Wear your jammies and bring a stuffie for a cozy bedtime-themed storytime. Contact Katie at katiec@eastonpl.org to register.

Family Storytime at the Main Library
For ages 0-5. Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:30 - 10:15am and 10:30 - 11:15am.
Join Miss Amber on Mondays or Miss Jenny on Wednesdays for a themed Storytime in which we will read books, sing songs, and get our wiggles out! A craft will be available after Storytime. No registration required.
No Family Storytime on Monday, September 5 and 19.

Block Party (Main)
Ages 0 - 5. Friday, September 2, 10:30 - 11:30am.
Calling all little builders! Join us for a free play block party and get building! Siblings are welcome to join! No registration is required for this program.

Stuffed Animal Pet Show (Main)
Ages 3-8 with an adult. Saturday Oct 1, 10:30am
Bring your stuffed animal to the library for a pet show! We will have a story time and craft and every pet will receive an award! To register, email jennifere@eastonpl.org

PROGRAMS FOR OLDER CHILDREN

I Survived Book Group (Palmer)
Ages 8-12. Wednesday, September 28 at 4:00pm
I Survived the Battle of Gettysburg, 1863.
The I Survived Book Group discusses books from Lauren Tarshis’s I Survived historical fiction series. Children discuss the story and participate in related STEM activities. Contact Katie at katiec@eastonpl.org to register. Registration begins 8/31.

Engineering Club (Main)
Ages 9+. Friday, September 9, 3:45 - 4:45pm.
Join Miss Amber for an afternoon of engineering exploration. We’ll engage in activities that will change monthly. Email ambert@eastonpl.org to register.

Anime and Manga Club (Main)
Ages 10+. Wednesday, September 21, 5:30 - 6:30pm.
Meet some new 3D people while spending time with your favorite 2D ones! We will watch episodes of popular anime and enjoy some favorite Japanese snack foods. All club attendees will have the chance to voice their opinions on which manga series we should acquire next! Email ambert@eastonpl.org to register.

Art Box Art Club (Main)
Ages 6-8. Monday, September 26, 5:30-6:30pm.
Explore various techniques, mediums, styles, and artists when you join the Art Club! Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting artsy as the process can get messy. Space is limited - registration is required. Email libbyo@eastonpl.org to register.

Sewing Club: Felt Animals (Main)
Ages 10+. Wednesday, September 28, 4:00-5:00pm.
Join Miss Amber to create your very own pocked-sized felt friend! We’ll be using embroidery needles and working primarily with blanket stitches to create our animals. No experience is required. Email ambert@eastonpl.org to register.

Card Club (Main)
Ages 10 and up. Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5:30 - 6:45.
Join us for a variety of games played with cards, including Pokémon and Magic the Gathering! Although we have all the cards necessary, feel free to bring your own (just check in with the teacher about using them!). Card Club isled by a community educator. See Youth Services with any questions.
