PALMER BRANCH
The Palmer Branch of the Easton Area Public Library is located in the Palmer Municipal Centre in Palmer Township just off Route 248
 
 
The Palmer Branch is happy to offer the following to our patrons:
  • Library materials, programs, and activities for children, teens, and adults
  • Computer lab with internet access and Microsoft Office.
  • Free public WIFI
  • Printouts and photocopies ($0.20/printed side)
  • Faxing services (faxes can be SENT only; we cannot receive faxes. You must use the cover sheet provided by the library. Charges are $2.00 for the first page and $1.00 for every subsequent page. Payable by cash or check.)

Little Storytime
For children ages 6-24 months, this storytime features songs, fingerplays, nursery rhymes, bubbles, and parachute play. Mother Goose Storytime helps little ones learn early literacy skills, socialization, rhythm, gross and fine motor skills, and coordination through play!
 
Big Storytime
For children ages 2-5, this storytime features stories, songs, activities, and action rhymes. This class introduces toddlers to early literacy skills, colors, shapes, letters, and numbers in fun and playful ways! All participants receive a craft kit to take home or do at the library.
 
Sensory Friendly Storytime
For ages 2-6, this storytime is designed for children with sensory sensitivities. Activities include books, songs, fingerplays, movement, and playtime with sensory toys. The class is led by Pam Reinholz, who has a background in special education.
Sensory Storytime provides a fun, interactive, and informal environment in which families can feel comfortable and relaxed.
 
   
  FOR SCHOOL-AGE CHILDREN:
   
I Survived Book Group
The I Survived Book Group discusses books from Lauren Tarshis’ I Survived historical fiction series. Children learn about historic events told through the eyes of a fictional child who survived. Participants discuss the book and participate in hands-on STEM activities related to the story. The group meets four times a year, and is for children ages 8-12. The first 10 children to register will receive a free paperback copy of the book, which is theirs to keep provided they attend the discussion. Who Was Book Group
The Who Was Book Group discusses books from the Who HQ non-fiction and biography series. Participants discuss the book and participate in related activities. The group meets four times a year, and is for children ages 8-12.   Teen Writers Workshop

A monthly meetup for aspiring teen writers! This informal, teen-led group helps teen writers practice writing creatively and share their writing with peers in a casual, supportive, judgement-free environment. Contact Katie at katiec@eastonpl.org for more information.

Palmer Adult Book Group
Palmer’s Adult Book Group is open to the public and always welcomes new participants. This informal book group meets the 4th Tuesday of every month at 6pm to discuss a variety of genres and topics. Forever Young Adult Book Group - Meets virtually
