watch episodes of popular anime and enjoy some favorite
Japanese snack foods. All club attendees will have the
chance to voice their opinions on which manga series we
should acquire next!

Card Club (Main)
Ages 10 - 18, or accompanied
by an adult. Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5:30 - 7:00pm.
Join us for a variety of
games played with cards, including Pokémon and Magic the
Gathering!
Although we have all the cards necessary, feel free to
bring your own. The card club games are led by a
community educator.

Teen Writer’s Workshop (Palmer)

The Teen Writers Workshop is
an informal, teen-led group that helps teen writers
understand how to write creatively and gives them an
opportunity to share their writing with peers. Meets the
first Saturday of the month at 1:00pm.

The Sketchbook Project

Let’s get our creative
juices flowing! Each month we will learn a different
technique to fill our sketchbooks and widen our artistic
abilities.
Each youth artist will receive their own mini sketchbook
(while supplies last), feel free to bring your favorite
pen or pencil.

Read to a Dog at the Library
(Main)
Ages 0 - 18 with an adult.
Tuesday, February 7 and 21, 10:30 - 11:30 am
Come to the library and read
to a certified Dog Therapy International canine!
Although we encourage children to read in this program,
they may also show the dog pictures from a book, or
simply pet them. Janet Grube, a trained professional
handler, will accompany the dog.
No registration
required, but participation is on a first-come basis.
