How does the Library
use my donation?
“Like new” items
often become part of the Library’s adult or
children’s circulating collections. Other items are
sold, either privately or at our semi-annual book
sales. The two sales in 2009 netted over $10,000 for
the Library.
Can I get a tax
receipt?
You may
request a receipt. The Library will acknowledge your
donation but cannot place a value on it. Please
count the number and type of items you are donating.
Where should I take
my donation?
You may leave small
quantities in the barrel near the Circulation Desk
at the Main Library. For large amounts, call Mary
Ann at 610-258-2917 ext. 393 to schedule a drop-off
time or to arrange for assistance if needed.
