Two AARP Driver Safety Programs will
be given at the Easton Area Public Library in October.
A four-hour refresher course for people who
have taken the standard eight-hour class will be held from 1:00 - 5:00
p.m. on Friday, October 17. Cost is $10. Registrants must show proof of
completion of the standard course at the class.
The standard class will be held from 1:00 -
5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 24 and Friday, October 31. Cost is $10.
Upon completion of both sessions of this class, participants are
eligible for a discount on their auto insurance. Check with your
insurance agent for details.
Classes are open to all drivers aged 50 and
older. Membership in AARP is not required, and there are no tests.
Classes are limited to twenty people. The $10
non-refundable fee for materials is paid in advance when registering for
the program. To register, go to the Reference Desk at the Main Library
